In addition to our signature, house made desserts, Tavern 1757 is very pleased to be offering delicious dessert items from Wildflour Confections in Seymour, CT. Delivered fresh each weekend, we will feature different pastries or other confection specials weekly. We can also offer cupcakes and custom cakes “to order” for any private party of dining event, as well as for off-site catering.
Our pizza is made in the classic, artisan style… thin, hand-made crust that is baked in an imported Italian wood-fired pizza oven to create a delicious and crispy crust beneath the freshest vegetables, herbs, cheeses and meats. Old-world baking methods call for a pizza oven with stone or bricks that reflect the heat throughout to evenly bake the pie from both above and below. Our pizza is lightly sauced to maintain a crispy crust, and then the toppings are added to create our unique indulgence.
